Dr Richard Campbell practices as a Consultant Rheumatologist in the Bromley, Beckenham, Kent and South East London areas. He has specialist experience in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr Campbell trained in Bristol and qualified in 2000. His postgraduate training has been in London and he has carried out academic research at King’s College London. He was appointed as a rheumatology consultant in 2013. His NHS practise is with King’s College London NHS Trust. At King’s he is part of a well respected rheumatology department. His main NHS work is with the King’s Bromley sites where he is clinical lead for rheumatology (Orpington Hospital and the Princess Royal University Hospital). His sub-specialist practise is with the King’s College Denmark Hill Lupus and Connective Tissue diseases clinic. He is currently Chair of the Consultant Committee at Princess Royal University Hospital.

Dr Campbell’s private rheumatology practise is at the Sloane BMI Hospital in Beckenham, BMI Chelsfield Park Hospital and Lyca Health, Sidcup. He is able to see private patients at convenient times. Academic and Training
Dr Campbell has published original research in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, fatigue in autoimmune arthritic disorders and in inflammatory muscle diseases. He has presented nationally and internationally in his field. He actively participates in undergraduate and postgraduate training of medical students at King’s College London as well as junior doctors. Click here to view presentations and publications.
